It can be difficult to identify just what it is about a local pub that makes it a local… this one’s no exception. The Duck Inn , whichever way you look at it, is a fabulous local pub.
Perhaps it’s the friendly staff, or maybe it’s the fact that there are lounges and low tables in the bar area.
Or that there’s dogs at the bar, as well as in the beer garden at the back where the fire’s burning.
That it’s in a very small side street, I think, goes a long way to giving it that local feel. You have to know it’s there to trip over this local, which is just across the road from the Seymour Centre near Sydney University.
